Jacob and Tim are two bicycle commuters who want to help Detroiters deliver packages and products in a more environmentally safe and efficient way.
Cher Ami (pronounced "share-uh-me”) is an homage to Detroit’s French past; translated it means, “good friend.” It is also a famous messenger pigeon from World War I. In 1918, despite numerous injuries, Cher Ami was awarded a medal after he was able to fly miles in time to deliver a message saving many of the soldiers in America’s Lost Platoon.
